The Mk4 Focus (2018-2025) uses front seats with side-impact airbags in the outer bolsters across every trim. Any seat cover you fit must be explicitly labelled airbag-compatible, with a seam engineered to release under deployment force. This is a safety point, not a comfort one.

Trim variance is significant here. Titanium and Active share the same standard-comfort seat shape and accept universal semi-custom covers cleanly. ST-Line and ST-Line X add integrated side bolsters that trap universal covers with side elastic hooks - the elastic pulls the cover taut across the bolster and the fabric bunches at the seat sides. ST-specific bucket seats need model-specific covers.

The 60/40 rear bench is shared across all Mk4 Focus bodies including the Estate. Front and rear covers cross-fit hatch, estate and Active - only cargo/boot accessories differ between the body styles.

Frequently asked questions

Do ST-Line seat covers fit Titanium?

Physically they sit but ST-Line-specific covers are cut for deeper bolsters and gap on Titanium’s shallower seats. Buy trim-specific.

Is the Ford Focus ST bucket seat compatible with any cover?

Only specialist Focus ST-specific covers designed around the integrated bolsters. Universal covers cannot install.
