Do old Yaris (2011-2020) mats fit the current car?

No. The fourth-generation Yaris (XP210) sits on Toyota’s GA-B platform, a completely different underbody from the previous XP150. Older mats sit but the retention hooks do not line up and the driver’s-side floor pan curves differently.

Are Yaris and Yaris Cross mats interchangeable?

No. Same platform, but the Yaris Cross has a taller, wider cabin with a different rear footwell and higher seat mounts. Buy body-specific mats.

Are there any hybrid-specific fit issues?

UK Yaris is hybrid-only, so all cars share the same cabin. The hybrid battery sits under the rear seat, which shortens boot depth compared with the previous petrol Yaris; that affects boot liners, not cabin mats.

Do GR Sport trims share mats with Icon?

Yes. GR Sport adds sports pedals and a flat-bottomed steering wheel; the floor pan is shared.

One thing many buyers miss

The Yaris no longer has a spare wheel - just a repair kit under the boot floor. That does not affect cabin mats but it does mean any boot organiser that expects a full false-floor tray sits at a different level. If you were planning to bundle a boot liner with cabin mats, buy the Yaris-specific pair together, not a generic set.

How to check before ordering

• Confirm your car is fourth-generation XP210 (2020-onwards).
• Two round retention posts on driver’s side is GA-B pattern.
• Do not order “Yaris” mats without a year qualifier - listings still index against the outgoing car.
