Frequently asked questions

Do pre-Juniper Model Y covers fit a Juniper car?

Yes. The Juniper refresh (Q1 2025 UK deliveries onwards) changed the exterior styling, dashboard trim and headliner but did not touch the front seat frames or rear bench dimensions. Any pre-Juniper cover set fits.

How do Juniper’s ventilated seats change cover choice?

Long Range gains ventilated front seats on Juniper. Fabric covers block most of the airflow; skip covers on those seats or buy perforated mesh panels marketed as ventilated-compatible.

Does the third-row option (pre-Juniper) affect cover sets?

Yes. Model Y was UK-configurable with a 7-seat option on pre-Juniper cars. Third-row cover sets exist but are cut short - confirm your car’s row 3 status before ordering.

Are Performance seats different from Long Range?

Front seat shape is very similar - both use the same base frame - but Performance adds slightly deeper bolsters. Universal Model Y covers fit both but Performance-specific covers wrap the bolsters more cleanly.

One thing many buyers miss

The Model Y’s front seats are power-operated on every trim including Rear-Wheel Drive. Cover installation with the seat fully forward is significantly easier than with it back - if the cover feels stubborn on the base cushion, motor the seat forward first, install, then move it back.

How to check before ordering

  • Pre-Juniper or Juniper - either takes the same seat covers.
  • Ventilated seats - buy perforated or skip covers on those seats.
  • Row 3 configuration - only relevant on pre-Juniper 7-seat cars.
